About
Beginning with a love for teaching and practicing yoga, Dr. Laura pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Upon graduating with honors in May 2022, she worked for a large hospital-based outpatient orthopedic clinic. She quickly realized that current standard productivity requirements at these establishments would never allow her to give patient’s the care that they need and deserve to make true, lasting changes to their health.
Thus, in 2024, Altus Performance Physical Therapy was born, where she could utilize her training to fulfill the mission of providing the best possible, uniquely tailored care. She is passionate about empowering all active adults to get back to doing what they love, because we all deserve to lead the life we desire.
When not at the clinic you can find her playing with her young son, jumping out of airplanes, surfing the waves at New Smyrna, doing yoga or CrossFit, or enjoying one of the many restaurants DeLand has to offer.
