Let’s #ElevateYourPerformance

What we do

At Altus Performance PT we provide performance-focused, evidence-based therapy as unique as you are.

Each visit is 60 minutes one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

We listen to your unique story to determine where you were, where you are, and where you want to be.

Through a tailored program of exercise and body work, we make it our mission to get you there, for good.

So that you can do what you love, pain-free.

Step 1:

Review

Step 1: Review

We spend the time diving in to the root cause of your pain through extensive history taking, a physical examination, and functional screening tests. From here, we make a plan for getting you back to your goals.

Step 2:

Restore

Step 2: Restore

Utilizing an evidence-based approach, we combine hands-on techniques and a tailored exercise program to restore mobility and strength, designed specifically with your goals in mind.

Step 3:

Refine

Step 3: Refine

This is what sets us apart and where we truly elevate your performance. Rehab becomes training. We ensure you are fully back to meeting the demands of your activity and life, pain free, and with the tools to keep it that way.

About

Beginning with a love for teaching and practicing yoga, Dr. Laura pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Upon graduating with honors in May 2022, she worked for a large hospital-based outpatient orthopedic clinic. She quickly realized that current standard productivity requirements at these establishments would never allow her to give patient’s the care that they need and deserve to make true, lasting changes to their health.

Thus, in 2024, Altus Performance Physical Therapy was born, where she could utilize her training to fulfill the mission of providing the best possible, uniquely tailored care. She is passionate about empowering all active adults to get back to doing what they love, because we all deserve to lead the life we desire.

When not at the clinic you can find her playing with her young son, jumping out of airplanes, surfing the waves at New Smyrna, doing yoga or CrossFit, or enjoying one of the many restaurants DeLand has to offer.
